The print is "Pinky's Scooter" by Kerry Beary. My mom made the curtains and crib bumper with fabric I got on eBay for $40. The dresser was a gift from John's parents, Jim and Sally. The cherry pail is from My Retro Baby. Wall color is Benjamin Moore's "Popcorn Kernel."

Hattie's nursery was inspired by my love of vintage treasures, Vespas, and my overwhelming aversion to licensed characters. My dad made the little doll cradle for me when I was a little girl; the doll quilt is from an antique mall in Walla Walla.

Before Hattie, there was Guinness at Kell's in Post Alley, in Seattle.
